Changing the world through philanthropic music.
Vision
Mato Music Fund seeks to identify un-funded or underfunded societal conditions and inspire music and art minded persons to donate funds to support societal change in an exchange of art for philanthropy.
Our first endeavor
“Who You Were”
The song, “Who You Were” was written about a relationship between a daughter and her mother with Alzheimer’s disease, but its message resonates with countless families whose loved ones have been affected by this heartbreaking illness.
We believe in the power of music to inspire and create meaningful connections through shared experiences.
All donations directly support Alzheimer's research, currently going to Alzheimer's Association as restricted funds for research, the world's largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research.
Our second endeavor...
Through collaboration with native members of the Deaf Community, Mato Music Fund seeks to create and distribute a music video to raise funds. Funds raised would be used 1) to prevent language deprivation of Deaf children that leads to an inhibition of their human potential, and 2) to compensate the artists involved so that they can continue to change the world through philanthropic music.
